In the world of school athletics, things are never static. In a single season, multiple sports can have games on the same day, and this means seating for parents, fans, and students. It would be nice if they all shared the same field and took turns using it, but we all know this isn’t the case.

With each sport having its own playing field, it’s difficult for schools to furnish them all with seating. Sure, you can spread funding around and give each field a mediocre seating arrangement, but there are much better options out there.

New designs and mechanics have given way to portable bleachers that are often much more comfortable than the stationary ones they will replace. Schools can put multiple sets together in order to provide seating for a large event. Versatility is much better than rigid and expensive options, which is why these 5 scenarios are only some of the reasons to get portable bleacher seats.

  • Large Events – If your school is in the position to host a large sporting event like state championships or a big meet, portable bleachers will allow you to easily put together seating for all in attendance. These types of events can be stressful and even impossible for some schools to handle, but allowing yourself the option to do so can mean bringing in funding for your school.
  • Winter Storage – For those schools with harsh winters, having the option to store bleacher seating inside is a must. This will greatly prolong the life of bleachers and means tons of money saved on equipment. Many options are easily collapsible so they won’t take up much room in storage.
  • Seating for Non-athletic events – Schools are always having non-athletic events that require seating. Portable stadium seats make sure you can host these events anywhere instead of strictly at sports fields.
  • Easy Future Redesigning – If your school ever needed to rearrange the sports fields, stationary bleachers would make this process unnecessarily difficult. While it doesn’t happen a lot, there are times when the fields need to be switched around or there is a total redesign. When planning, make sure it’s easy for future generations.
  • Many Events Track meets are good examples, and there are plenty of other times where your school hosts multiple events at once. With dynamic portable bleachers, all of these events can have their own designated seating area so that things can take place all at the same time.

Carroll Seating Company is ahead of its time with portable and easily portable bleachers. In order to save your school time and money, Contact us today to see how much more efficiently your sports areas can be arranged.

Choosing seating for any crowd event can be difficult. Whether it’s a soccer game, a concert, or a circus, bleachers are traditionally the best and most efficient seating mechanisms around. However, there are a few different types of bleachers you can consider purchasing for your venue or field. Perhaps one of the best options is the freestanding bleacher.

Unless it’s a huge environment, like a commercial baseball stadium, chances are that it is used for many different purposes. Due to this, seating may have to be frequently rearranged. Freestanding bleachers can easily be moved around to accommodate many different events than some other types. Additionally, there is far more flexibility with these in terms of seating dynamics. For example, if the event is a soccer game, chances are that no field administrator would advise putting bleachers behind the goals, since this is where the ball is most likely to strike. However, at a track meet, it might be advantageous to put them all around the field. In this manner, freestanding bleachers can create a much better viewing experience due to their nature.

Another great benefit of freestanding bleachers is that they do not promote property decimation. Traditional bleachers, nailed down in one place, will make certain parts of your property non-conducive to grass growing and will encourage rodents and snakes to make homes under your bleachers. By having freestanding bleachers that can be moved to various locations, you can regularly clean under them very easily, and you can move them around throughout the year to ensure that your grass can stay green and your property can stay intact.

Carroll Seating Company has been in the bleacher business for more than 60 years, and we have the knowledge, expertise, and experience to guide you through purchasing the right bleacher option for whatever your needs may be. Contact Carroll Seating today to learn more about how we can help.

Whether you’re designing a new facility or you simply need to make a chance to what you have, selecting outdoor bleacher seating can be difficult. Wondering exactly what you need to consider before you make your choice? Here are a few aspects to think about.

  1. Seating Capacity – Easily one of the most important factors in your decision will be how many people you need to seat.  Outside-bleachers-Carroll-Seating To decide, think about your biggest crowd. While that massive number may not happen during every single game or event, it’s always nice to have a bit more space than you need.
  2. Available Space – While you may want plenty of seating options for your fans or guests, the amount of space you have is key to the outdoor bleacher seating you actually order. You’ll need to have the area professionally measured and evaluated to make certain not only that you have the right amount of space, but also that the space you have is suitable for the type of seating you select. Safety is important, and not all areas are suitable for your seating choices.
  3. Sightlines – You want your fans and guests to be able to see to the stage or the field. Maintaining the right sightlines can be difficult, particularly if you don’t get the right seating choice.

It can be tough to keep everything in mind as you work to find the right outdoor bleacher seating to meet your needs. Fortunately, Carroll Seating Company can help. With project managers who will do everything from determine the necessary seating capacity to meet your needs to help you decide what space is usable to ensuring your audience’s sightlines are maintained at all times, you’ll get top notch service as well as a phenomenal product that will last for years to come.

High Quality Seating and More
Seating can be very important, just as other components can make a huge difference in how you view your workplace.  Everything from casework in a medical setting to bleachers in a school can all transform those places from dull and everyday to strong and vibrant.  Renovating an area to include brand new seating means finding comfortable and stylish seats.  In any case, when you can customize what the seats, bleachers, and much more look like, then you are on the right track.

A seating company should be able to do all these things for you and still provide you with even more.  Choosing the right seating company can make all the difference in the world when it comes to choosing, ordering, installing, and affording the things you need for your location.  Knowledgeable staff that can provide you with the information you need as well as give you additional ideas are a key component to getting things done right the first time.  Take some time to do your research on seating companies and find out what they are capable of, what they can offer you, and how long they have been in business.  The longer they have been doing what they do and the more distinguished their client list is, the more confident you can be about choosing them for the job.

Additional Help
A seating company shouldn’t just be about seats, and nor should it just be about providing you with them.  A high quality seating company brings in a staff that knows the business inside and out.  It will seek out relations and partnerships with other providers as well as financial institutions in order to help you get your projects off the ground should you need assistance.  There is a process involved when it comes to installing seating, bleachers, casework, and other large furnishings into any area.  Working with staff can help you decide which pieces would work best in a space, and if you have any customization ideas that shouldn’t be a problem either.

All these connections with providers and institutions can give you an edge that you may not have had otherwise.  This sort of help can really make the difference on whether or not you are finally able to put in telescopic bleachers into your gymnasium or brand new tables in your library.
