This recent project in Berkeley, IL provided an excellent opportunity to highlight our expertise and commitment to quality craftsmanship. This project brings Sunnyside Intermediate School and MacArthur Middle School together under one roof in a 165,000-square-foot facility. With a smart layout, the building encourages collaboration among faculty and students while offering shared community spaces for various uses. The project was completed on a $72 million budget.

This impressive and visually stunning building design and interior is the vision of the client Berkeley D87 and Wold Architects & Engineers. The new building will improve grade-level centers and create space for expanding exploratory programs previously limited by space. It will also maximize natural daylight in learning areas and include infrastructure for future solar panels.
