Healthcare & Laboratories
What started with Patrick Carroll selling church pews out of his Chicago home nearly six decades ago, today has grown into a thriving 30-person company of design/finish professionals serving clients nationwide.
“We work with dealers nationwide and the Carroll folks are some of the best. They really understand the process from start to finish and make it easy to work with them.” – Brian R.
With dedicated staff for healthcare facilities, CSC offers solutions for this ever-changing landscape, including electronically adjustable workstations, and three types of anti-microbial surfaces on plastic laminate casework, acrylic and technical ceramic tops.
CSC established a foundation for a company that has not only withstood economic and industry turbulence, but tripled in size over the last 15 years, becoming a trusted and dependable $30-million operation. Though the company has grown significantly, we’ve never forgotten our roots and guiding philosophy: provide a great client experience by delivering industry-leading products for healthcare facilities and laboratories.
The “Seating” portion of our name doesn’t define us; instead, we tackle all things wood and plastic and metal. Maintaining an emphasis on expertise, hard work and relationship-building, our offerings have expanded to include millwork, casework, athletic equipment, furnishings, and lockers – in a variety of industries.
The requirements for laboratories are extremely varied and may change quickly; CSC lab casework options bring flexibility to this environment, while addressing the customer’s specific needs. Options are available to comply with SEFA 8 and LEED Design requirements.
CSC has installed furniture and equipment in hundreds of settings. Using materials from reputed manufacturers, CSC ensures that bookcases, chairs and desks provide easy access and comfort, as well as durability, customization, and functionality – for both patrons and staff.
We also specialize in architectural casework and millwork– from wall panels to research casework to customized reception desks and display cases. Our Casework/millwork is manufactured for quality and architectural appeal, and can be fabricated from a wide variety of materials, including wood, phenolic, Corian™, metal, stainless steel and plastic laminate composites and can take the form of cabinets, work stations, desks, shelving and counter tops.
Above all, cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and key partners is a fundamental building block of Carroll Seating Company’s business philosophy. “We make all the pieces work together from selecting the materials and suppliers through installation of the finished products,” said Carroll. “There’s a lot of coordination, and it’s challenging, but we really enjoy it and excel at it.”
